C U R I O S I T Y is pleased to show a work (2015) by artist Johan Gelper. 

 

Johan Gelper (°80, BE, lives and works in Ghent) has an intense practice of drawings, sculptures and installations.

 
The artist is inspired by natural processes, science and poetry. The works are constructed out of a wide range of natural and industrial materials. Combining both light and heavy, smooth and raw, natural and artificial materials, he often makes combinations with found industrial junk and objects trouvées.
 

Finissage on September 18th, 6 pm.

The work of Johan Gelper has been shown at various places, for example Galerie El, Galerie Marion De Cannière, Villa de Olmen and is adopted in private and public collections, including of the SMAK. Gelper will show new works at Galerie OMS Pradhan (Brussels) from September 12.
